about us
One of the most beautiful, exquisite country settings in Greensville County, Virgiinia is the place of the lateJames and Lelia Tucker. The property was acquired in the late 1940's for farming purposes. In 1960, as part of a Soil and Water Conservation Project, a man-made pond was created for watering the family's livestock. The livestock have been gone for many years but the pond remains stocked with Brim and Bass Fish. It is a popular fishing site for family and friends.
Because of it's popularity, a recreational area was developed centered around the pond. Today, the area has become known as Tucker's Pond. The community enjoys events at Tucker's pond, such as, picnics, reunions, retreats, weddings and the like. The farmhouse has been newly renovated and is known as The Tucker's Country Inn.
We aspire to continue the dream that our parents envisioned.
